Sawdust World: Out Now
Winter is closing in and the skies have gotten dark lately; it's a good time to seek refuge in music. On Friday, November 15, I release my second EP on Memphis International Records. Sawdust World is a five-song collection exploring the human experience of longing, loss, redemption and hope. The record was produced by Michael Dinallo and Tim Carter, and engineered by Tim at his Treehouse Studio in Nashville. Michael plays guitars on all tracks and Tim plays mandolin. We were joined by our very gifted friends Dave Jacques on bass, Justin Amaral on drums, Anita Suhanin on backing vocals, Jim Gambino on keyboards, Michael McAdam on guitar, Smith Curry on pedal steel and Aaron Till on fiddle. My brother James "Killer" Kane, my cousin Greg Kane, vocalist Kat Brooks and Michael's daughter Annabel all make appearances as well; there's nothing better than making music with friends and family. My thanks and gratitude to Johnny and Jeff Phillips of Memphis International Records for giving my songs a home.
